Eleanor “Ellie” Tronoski of Blue Bell age 91 passed away peacefully surrounded by family and loved ones on July 20, 2018 preceded in death by husband Joseph Tronoski Sr. and son Joseph Tronoski Jr.

Ellie was born July 19, 1927 to Joseph Kulick and Catherine Haffy in Locust Gap, Pennsylvan­ia. She lived most of her life in the Blue Bell area. Though she was widowed in her mid forties, she successful­ly raised their nine children on her own.

Some of her favorite pastimes were, traveling, sunbathing at the beach and singing in the kitchen while preparing meals for her large family. She helped bring up and care for countless grandchild­ren, her home was always open to all. You could bring in extra children, told her they were hers, and she would tuck them under her wing like the good mother hen that she was. Mom was the true definition of Mother.

She remained active and social well into her eighties, often serving as host and cake baker at son Patrick’s Whitpain Tavern. The Clover store in Center Square was blessed with her presence for numerous years.

She is survived by her children Kathleen, John, Robert, Thomas, William, Patrick, Lorrie and Colleen, 23 grandchild­ren and 13 great-grandchild­ren.

Family and friends are invited to share in Ellie’s life celebratio­n on Wednesday July 25 from 6-8 PM at Boyd-HorroxGivn­ish Funeral Home 200 West Germantown Pike Norristown, Pa. and a Memorial Mass on Thursday July 26 at 11 AM at Saint Helena Church 1489 Dekalb Pike Blue Bell, Pa.
