Joyce Epping

Joyce Epping, age 85, died on August 19, 2018 in Audubon.

She was predeceased by her husband Robert Epping, and her parents Albert “Pete” and Eleanor (Joyce) Elie.

She is survived by her daughter Kathi Martin, son-in-law Shannon Martin, son David Epping, and daughter-in-law Christine Laciak. Additionally she is survived by her brother Robert Elie, and sisters Carol Elie and Patricia Obrecht.

Joyce was a graduate of College of St. Rose with a BS in Nursing and received her Masters in counseling from Villanova University. She was on the psychiatric staff of Montgomery Hospital.

Joyce was an active parishioner of St. Teresa of Avila Church. She served as cantor, choir member, extraordinary minister of communion, Outreach Ministry and served in Catholic Ministry at Shannondell.

Family and friends are invited to Joyce’s Celebration of Life Mass on Friday, August 24, 2018, at 10 am, at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 1260 South Trooper Road, Audubon, PA 19403. The Mass will be preceded by a viewing at the church from 8:45 to 9:45, and followed by interment at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, 2400 Dekalb Pike, East Norriton, PA 19401.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Joyce’s memory to St. Teresa of Avila Parish Outreach Ministry at the above address.
