Ann M. Meng of West Norriton

Ann M. (Speece) Meng, 94, wife of the late Robert A. Meng, died Thursday, September 6, 2018, at her W. Norriton Twp., home.

Mrs. Meng was born on September 19, 1923, in E. Norriton Twp., to the late Samuel G. and Susan A. (Lawlor) Speece. She was a Norristown High School graduate.

Before retiring, Mrs. Meng was a longtime delicatessen supervisor for Genuardi Super Markets.

Mrs. Meng was a founding member of Visitation BVM Catholic Church, W. Norriton Twp., she started the first Girl Scout Troop. She later attended St. Eleanor Catholic Church, Collegeville.

Mrs. Meng is survived by her daughters, Susan Raab, Hereford Twp., Martha Meng, with whom she resided, and Sandra, wife of Charles Musselman, Lower Providence Twp.; her grandchildren, Matthew, husband of Erin Musselman, and Scott, husband of Linda Musselman; greatgrandson Wyatt Musselman; and her brother, Edmund Speece, Roxborough. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Marie Donahoe, Joseph Speece, Camille “Slim” Speece, and Eugene Speece.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, at St. Eleanor Catholic Church, 647 Locust St., Collegeville. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, E. Norriton Twp.
