Philip A. Giannini;

Philip A. Giannini passed away in Margate, NJ, on September 14, 2018. Born August 12, 1926 in Bangor, PA, Philip was the son of Rosaria (Ronca) and Leonardo Giannini. He was the beloved husband of Carmela (Soglia) Giannini.

Philip was the loving father of Leonard Giannini (Sandi) and Andrea Carr (Ron). He was the cherished grandfather to Tim Carr (Jen), Philip Carr (Shannon), Jaime Johnson (Tyler), Philip Giannini (Kaityln), Martin Giannini (Kaci), Anthony Carr (Leah), great grandfather to Gabriella, Giulianna, Lillian, and Brynn. He was preceded in death by his brother John.

Philip proudly served our country during WWII, in the U.S. Navy. He was a retired funeral director in Germantown and was an insurance broker until his retirement. He and Carmela raised their family in King of Prussia, and later retired to Fort Lauderdale and Margate.

Relatives and friends are invited to Philip’s Life Celebration at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Wednesday, September 19th, from 1111:50 am followed by his Funeral Mass at noon. Interment will be at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens.
