GERMANTOWN ACADEMY WINS TWO >> The Patriots defeated Episcopal Academy 2238 and AIS 18-38 on Episcopal’s challengin­g course Tuesday.

Issy Goldstein led the way for GA with a time of 20 minutes, 15 seconds, the third fastest time ever on the course.

Other top finishers for the Pats included Gianna Murgia (third), Gabby Manosis (fifth), Jade Dohner (seventh), Juli Gonzalez (ninth), Livi Merrill (12th), Mackenzie Pasquarell­a (15th) and Zoe Torrey (21st).

GA is 4-0 overall and 3-0 in the InterAc.

Boys Water Polo

GERMANTOWN ACADEMY 11, EPISCOPAL ACADEMY 4 >> The Patriots opened up Inter-Ac play with a resounding win against league rival Episcopal Academy Tuesday.

After a scoreless first quarter, Walker Butler broke the deadlock, and the Patriots would never trail from there on.

GA 11 (12-5) got five goals and three steals from Walker Butler, four goals and four steals from Brian Bartle, four assists and four steals from Jack Forde, and 15 saves from Justin Stokes.

Golf

GA PLACES FOURTH >> The Patriots placed fourth in the Inter-AC Golf Tournament, hosted by Haverford School at Gulph Mills Tuesday.

Low score for the Pats was by Eric Lafond with a 39.

Girls Volleyball

UPPER MERION 3, OWEN J. ROBERTS 0 >> The Vikings won 2516, 25-17, 25-15 in the PAC matchup Wednesday night.

Tori Wright had 19 kills while Danielle Chung added 10. Katelyn O’Brien had 16 digs while Sophie Gammarino added 13. Kelly Moore had a personal best with 40 assists in a three-set match. With the victory, the Lady Vikings clinch the Frontier Division title for the second year in a row. BALDWIN 3, GERMANTOWN DOCK 3, MAST 0 >> Leading Dock in the 25-9, 25-18, 25-15 sweep was Nicole Ford, who hit for a career-high .474 average and added 9 digs on defense and three aces from the service line.

Cailey Ridge led the team on defense with 10 digs. Alexis Landis had six aces and served for 20 points on the night. Dock is 7-4.

SPRING-FORD 6, SOUDERTON AREA 1 >> The Rams swept the doubles matches Wednesday to pull out the non-league victory over Big Red. POPE JOHN PAUL II 5, BOYERTOWN 2 >> The Panthers took two of the three singles matches to gain an edge in the PAC matchup on Tuesday. WISSAHICKO­N 4, METHACTON 3>> The Trojans took three of the four doubles matches to pull out the non-league victory Tuesday. LANSDALE CATHOLIC 5, DOCK 1 >> The Crusaders took all but first singles in the non-league match Tuesday.

No. 4 doubles was called due to darkness. HILL 6, PRINCETON DAY 1 >> Forwards Alex Conway, Taylor Duffany, and Ashley Kling set the tone by executing a beautiful passing combinatio­n and thus scoring a goal less than a minute into the contest on Wednesday. GERMANTOWN ACADEMY 1, BONNER & PRENDERGAS­T 0 >> Sammy Popper scored the lone goal for the Patriots and Sophie Towne made a save to preserve the victory Wednesday.

GA is 5-3-1, 2-1-1 in the InterAC. GWYNEDD MERCY 3, MERION MERCY 2 >> The Monarchs got a goal each from three different players and seven saves from Kylie Haberstroh in the Catholic Academies League win Tuesday. DOCK 9, BRISTOL 1 >> Kate Strickland got the Pioneers going early Tuesday and Dock never wavered.

The Pioneers raised their record to 8-3 overall and 7-2 in the BAL. SPRING-FORD 3, METHACTON 0>> The Rams came away with a shutout win over Liberty Division opponent Methacton Tuesday. Colin Trainor crossed a ball deep in to the box and finished by Evan Hang. The Rams went up 2-0 in the 35th minute with a goal by Aiden Hudon off a Colin Trainor corner.

Spring-Ford sealed the win in the 50th minute when Brett Gulati worked hard to win possession in the box and finish far left netting.

Ray Fortebuono and the defense played another solid game, recording their 8th shutout of the season. MERION MERCY 1, GWYNEDD MERCY 0 >> Merion Mercy got a second-half goal to win a defensive battle with the Monarchs on Wednesday.
