Howard D. Heyser Jr. of W. Norriton Twp.

Howard D. Heyser Jr., 89, husband of Dorothy J. (Cresmer) Heyser, died Saturday, October 20, 2018, at his W. Norriton Twp. home.

Mr. Heyser was born on December 31, 1928, in W. Norriton, to the late Howard D. Sr. and Christabel (Moore) Heyser.

He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War.

Before retiring, Mr. Heyser was a courier for Meridian Bank and Upper Merion School District. He also was a bus driver for Methacton and Upper Merion school districts, and a self-employed wholesale food distributer.

Mr. Heyser was a member of Jeffersonville Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed collecting and listening to Big Band music.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Heyser is survived by his sons, Gary and William Heyser; his grandchildren, Scott and Glenn Heyser; his sisters, Evelyn Roshong and Mildred Metzger; and eight nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Mary Zollers.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday in Jeffersonville Presbyterian Cemetery, with a reception and light refreshments following in the church Fellowship Hall.
