Ross C. & Rhoda E. Woodward of Fort Washington

Ross C. Woodward, 84, and Rhoda E. “Vicki” (Statuti) Woodward, 81, both of Fort Washington, died Tuesday, December 4, 2018. The couple was married September 24, 1955, and recently celebrated 63 years of marriage.

Mr. Woodward was employed as the superintendent of Whitemarsh Valley Country Club for many years. He owned and operated Woodward’s Mower Service for 30 years and retired as a groundskeeper with the Audubon Nature Preserve.

Mrs. Woodward was employed with the Montgomery County Register of Wills for 30 years.

Both were longtime members of Trinity Lutheran Church, Fort Washington.

Survivors include their sons, R. Christopher “Woody” Woodward (Julia) of Harleysville, and Mark A. Woodward (Linda) of St. Petersburg, FL; three grandchildren, Blair, Kyle, and Leigha; Ross’s sister, Jane Davis of Woxall; and Rhoda’s brother, Joseph H. Statuti II (Jane) of Delaware.

Relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 10, 2018 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in the couple’s memory to Trinity Lutheran Church, 253 Summit Ave., Fort Washington, PA 19034.
