Dock’s defense dominates Bristol

Rams to a PAC win over the Warriors Tuesday.

Colin Trainor, Marcel Francis and Justin Rus- sell added goals for Spring- Ford.

The Rams did all their scoring in the second half. PERK VALLEY 5, NORRISTOWN 1 >> Norristown took the early lead when Diego Guzman dribbled past two defenders and shot into the far netting. PV responded with three goals before the half including a beautifull­y struck ball by Mark Pirrone to take the lead. saves in net, but the Monarchs fell short on Tuesday. CALVARY CHRISTIAN 1, DOCK 0>> Dock played an intense and strong game against Calvary Christian Academy. Goalkeeper Laura Frederick was solid, making her 17 saves in the game. Dock is back in action on Thursday evening when the Pioneers take on Faith Christian at 7 pm.

METHACTON 185, PV 195 >> Jason Rieger carded a 35 to lead a balanced Warrior squad to the PAC win on Tuesday.

Girls volleyball

UPPER MERION 3, OWEN J. ROBERTS 0 >> Vikings’ Gena Cirafesi served five aces while Vanessa Hutchinson had three in a sweep over OJR Tuesday.

Jill Demcher had 12 kills for Upper Merion while Sophie Gammarino added 16 digs. Annamarie Marsh contibuted 34 assists.

The victory makes UM 10-4 this season. POPE JOHN PAUL II 3, GWYNEDD MERCY ACADEMY 0 >> PJP cruised to a sweep, 2511, 25-14, 25-11, in a nonleague match against the Monarchs Tuesday.

Hanna Tulli led the victors with eight kills while Chelsea Harvey had 25 assists and Tea Pasquale 12 digs. GERMANTOWN ACADEMY 3, NOTRE DAME 1 >> Germantown Academy stayed perfect with a 22-25, 2522, 26-24, 25-16 InterAc win over Notre Dame Tuesday.

Natalie Schildt had five aces, 28 kills and 15 digs for the Patriots while Caitlyn Priore had three aces, three kills and 41 assists.
