2020 Spring Season Online Registrati­on: Online registrati­on for the 2020 Spring Season for Nor-Gwyn Baseball and Softball opens on Dec. 9 and runs through Monday, Feb. 11, 2020. Nor-Gwyn sponsors Co-Ed T-Ball, Baseball and Softball programs for boys and girls from age 4 and up. Practices will start in mid-March and the season runs until late June for ages 12 and under and through July for Connie Mack and American Legion baseball and VIGS softball. CHELTENHAM LADY PANTHER ALUMNAE BASKETBALL GAME The Cheltenham Lady Panthers Alumnae will be hosting its 7th Annual Lady Panther Alumnae basketball game. It is an effort to support those who are fighting cancer and raise funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society’s Coach vs. Cancer program. The Coach vs. Cancer program is a nationwide collaborat­ion between the

American Cancer Society and the National Associatio­n of Basketball Coaches (NABC) that empowers basketball coaches, their teams, and local communitie­s to make a difference in the fight against cancer. WHO: The Cheltenham Lady Panthers Alumnae, the American Cancer Society, and the National Associatio­n of Basketball Coaches (NABC). WHEN: Saturday, Jan. 4 at 12:30 p.m. WHERE: 500 Rices Mill Road, Wyncote, PA 19095. MORE: The Coaches vs. Cancer program leverages the personal experience­s, community leadership, and profession­al excellence of basketball coaches nationwide to increase cancer awareness and promote healthy living through yearround awareness efforts, fundraisin­g activities, and advocacy programs. Because cancer has touched so many of our nation’s basketball coaches, Coaches vs.

Cancer offers them the unique opportunit­y to fight the disease. Through integrated fundraisin­g activities and public awareness campaigns, participat­ing coaches are truly making a difference in the fight against cancer and are raising awareness in their communitie­s about the importance of cancer prevention, early detection, and making healthy lifestyle choices. Prior to the main event, there will be a FREE girls basketball clinic hosted by former Lady Panther alumnae and current Lady Panthers for youth girls at 10 a.m. Future Lady Panthers will get a chance to learn new skills from the current Lady Panther high school team and meet some of the Lady Panthers from the 2000 and 2007 state championsh­ip team. About the Cheltenham Lady Panther Legacy: PIAA Class AAAA state titles — the first in 2000 and the second in 2007. Cheltenham has won district titles in 1996, 1999, 2001 and 2002.
