Boys Bowling

On Monday evening a new format for the Suburban One bowling league had its first Baker game rolloff between the top two teams in each division to crown an overall league champion at Bristol Pike Lanes.

The North Penn Knights won and swept their first match against the Pennsbury Falcons (179-172) and (198-133).

That led to a match between the top two American league leaders of North Penn and Quakertown.

North Penn closed out Game 1 to edge out a (257255) win. Jason Brennecke rolled a crucial strike in the 6th frame followed by Naman Parikh doing the same which led to the last three bowlers (Martin Grace, James Carnal and Lucas Francis) closing out the hard-fought win. North Penn continue its strong bowling winning the second game (243-178) in clinching the first ever overall league championship.
