Ronald Wm. Livers, was born July 20, 1955 in Norristown, Pennsylvan­ia, to the late Lawrence A. Livers, Sr. and the late Barbara (Waldrop) Livers. Ronnie took his final earthly leap into the arms of his Heavenly Father, surrounded by his family, on Saturday, December 19, 2020. We praise God for his amazing life.

Ronnie was affectiona­tely known as “Legs”. He was a graduate of A.D Eisenhower High School, Class of 1973. He went on to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Performanc­e from San Jose State University in San Jose, California.

Over the years, he served in various capacities at the Carson Valley School, The Pathway School, Lincoln Alternativ­e School, Silver Springs Group Home, Northern Homes for Children, St. Gabriel’s Hall for Boys, Baptist Children’s Services and most recently, Stewart Middle School.

His ability to leap seemingly effortless­ly, led to the hurdles, high jump and triple jump events in high school, then college and beyond. In high school under the coaching of Coach Bob Shoudt, Ronnie developed and honed his gift. He travelled to San Jose, California, where he continued to achieve great things under the coaching of his big brother, Larry Livers, II, and Coach Ernie Bullard. His athletic achievemen­ts took him around the world, and the stories of his travels are never-ending.

Ronnie was loved and his memory will be forever cherished by his adoring wife, Adriane; son, Onaji (Missy) Livers; grandchild­ren, Alvino, Kwalee, Sintae and Kemet; siblings, Lawrence A. Livers, II, Yvonne (Robert) Massie, Rosalyn (James) Owens; Donald (Skylit) Livers; mother-in-law, Nancy Jones; sistersin-law, Lisa Jones-Jarrett, and Maria Jones; Godson, Adam Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 at Ebenezer Methodist Church, 234 E. Spruce Street, Norristown, PA 19401, from 300 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Private services will be live-streamed on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. via Facebook Live on the Ebenezer Methodist Church Facebook page

Interment will be following the private service in George Washington Memorial Park, 80 Stenton Avenue, Plymouth Meeting, PA.
