June Marie (McCook) Robinson

June Marie (McCook) Robinson, age 86, passed away peacefully Monday, January 4, 2021, at her daughter’s home in Eagleville, PA.

Born September 25, 1934, in Germantown, Philadelphia, she was the devoted wife to the late Wilbur Robinson, with whom she shared 61 years of marriage. June had a very strong faith and was a former member of St. Eleanor Church, Collegeville, PA and The Church of St. Mary, Mocanaqua, PA.

June’s greatest joy and passion in life was her husband, family and friends. June’s love and compassion for the elderly led her to be employed for many years at Leader Nursing and Rehabilitation, Norristown, Kingston Manor and Elmcroft of Berwick.

June was preceded in death by her parents James A. and Mary P. (Perril) McCook, her brother, James McCook, her daughter, Eileen Robinson, son-inlaw Joseph Burns and grandson Connor Robinson. She was the loving mother of 10 children, John Robinson (Carol), Mary Pat Rohe (David), Tom Robinson (Dianne), Marie Burns (Joseph), Joyce Legge (Robert), June Robinson, Ellen Wilson (Mark), Bridget Leddy, James Robinson (Charlene). She was a cherished grandmother of 22 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Joyce McCook Symington, sister- in- law Mae McCook and several nieces and nephews.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a celebration of June’s life will be held at St. Eleanor Church at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in June’s name may be made to Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls, Scholarship fund, 1000 W. Lycoming St., Philadelphia, PA 19140-2107
