Frances D. Gauntlett (nee Smith)

Frances D. Gauntlett (nee Smith) of Plymouth Meeting, Pa passed away on January 16, 2021 at the age of 91. Born in Elkton, MD on February 22, 1929 to the late William and Edna (nee Sapp) Smith, Frances was the beloved wife of the late John J. Gauntlett, Sr.; she is survived by her loving children Diane Wosczyna (Frank), John J., Jr. (Denise), Debbie Arnone (Buddy), and Lisa Bono (Joe); 7 cherished grandchildren, and 10 greatgrandchildren.

Frances enjoyed cooking and baking, reading, going to the casino, vacations in Ocean City, NJ; Frances was a very active member of the St. Paul Women’s Guild and loved to participate in all church activities. Frances’ greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Relatives and friends are invited to Frances’ Life Celebration at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church 2007 New Hope St, Norristown, PA 19401 on Thursday January 21, 2021 from 9:30-10:20 AM, followed by her funeral mass at 10:30AM; interment to follow at West Minster Cemetery. Her mass will be livestreamed via the Boyd-Horrox-Givnish Facebook page.

Please continue to adhere to current COVID guidelines, continue to wear a mask, and maintain a distance of 6 feet. Per her family’s request, there will be no receiving line.
