Deirdre “Dudy” (Frank) Pearson, 89, of Audubon, passed away on Jan. 15, 2021. She was born June 21, 1931, in Chambersbu­rg, PA to David and Elizabeth (Feldman) Frank. Dudy graduated from Chambersbu­rg High School (1949) and East Stroudsbur­g State College (now University) in 1953. On June 21, 1953, at the Zion Reformed Church in Chambersbu­rg, Dudy married her college sweetheart, Henry Pearson, who survives.

Socially engaged throughout her life, Dudy was active in her life and those of her loved ones. Life was filled with a vast array of activities and people, whom she touched with love, laughter, joy, and genuine care; she never met a stranger and had boundless energy. An abbreviate­d list of activities she loved included church choirs, drum majorette, aquatics, cooking, and baking for friends and family, skiing, and ice skating, dancing for fun, and acting. You may remember Dudy from the United Church of Christ where she was an active member for over 65 years. She was also involved in various clubs, and volunteer activities in Norristown, and Shannondel­l.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Debra (Daniel) Davidson of Cochranvil­le, PA; Randall (Kathleen) Pearson of King of Prussia, PA; Scott Pearson of Royersford, PA; and Elizabeth (Jonathan) Bauer of Skippack, PA; along with five grandchild­ren, Daniel Flore III, Kelsey and Sean Pearson, Kaden and Macey Bauer. Her four brothers, George Trail, E. Shannon Trail, Charles Trail and John Trail as well as numerous nieces and nephews were also fortunate to share in Dudy’s adventures, and joyful family experience­s. In addition to her parents, Dudy was predecease­d by her brother, David Frank, and her stepfather George Arthur “Art” Trail.
