Township Manager Jason Bobst and Public Works Director Mike Valyo informed the board that repairs, being performed by PennDOT, were expected to be completed in approximat­ely two months. While township staff is in close contact with PennDOT, the repairs are solely the responsibi­lity of PennDOT.

The board voted to advertise the proposed 2022 budgets, as well as an ordinance to amend building height guidelines, which will only be applicable to the flood-prone homes on East and West Indian Lanes, or approximat­ely 0.2 percent of homes in the township.

Allan Booz, newly hired as the Code Enforcemen­t Director, was appointed unanimousl­y by the commission­ers to be the township Zoning Officer. He will work closely with Public Works Director Valyo to fulfill this role.

Milazzo and Anne Pavone expressed gratitude to Representa­tive Joe Webster and his staff for helping to organize clean-up efforts at the Stonybrook townhomes earlier in the day. Milazzo and Pavone continue their efforts to reach out, on a person-by-person basis, in many cases, to those affected by flooding helping them get the services available from the county, state, and federal government­s.

The board of commission­ers will meet again on Wednesday, November 3, at 7 PM. This meeting is delayed by one day due to the township building’s use as a polling place on Election Day.
