Healthy Kids’ Day at the YMCA coming April 30
The Greater Philadelphia YMCA Association will be hosting its annual Healthy Kids Day Event on Saturday, April 30, from 10 a.m.-noon at all 15 YMCA locations, including the Spring Valley YMCA located at 19 W. Linfield-Trappe Road in Royersford.
This will be the 30th year this event has been offered to celebrate kids’ mental and physical health, promote healthy habits for kids and families, and encourage and inspire a love of physical activity.
During this free event, can enjoy fun activities and games, refreshments, and learn more about the YMCA’s programs and classes that can help keep them active and connected to a healthier life.
YMCA members and non-members are both invited to attend the event and learn more about what the Y has to offer families and their children. Tours of the YMCA facilities will also be offered and anyone looking to join the Y during the event will receive a special join promotion.
The Greater Philadelphia YMCA joins more than 1400 other YMCA locations across 50 states that will be hosting similar activities that feature fun games and activities to keep kids moving.
