Mark Edward Bridges

Mark Edward Bridges, 67, of Pea Ridge died Friday, July 15, 2016 at his home. He was born Nov. 15, 1948, in Brandsvill­e, Mo., to Jesse Thurman Bridges, II and Velma Marie Johnson Holzkamper.

He moved to Pea Ridge in 1973 to make his home and owned and operated Bridges Excavating for 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, dancing, motorcycle­s and loved showing off his hotrods and Model “T” in local car shows. He was a regular at all the local gathering places in town and will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his biological father; his father, Phil Holzkamper, Sr.; and a grandson, Camron Bridges.

Survivors are his mother, Velma Holtzkampe­r of Rogers; three sons, Tom Bridges, Eric Bridges and wife Kim, and Casey Bridges, all of Pea Ridge; nine brothers, Ellis, Larry, Roger, Joe, Robert, Tim, Phillip, Michael and Ted; a sister, Wanetta; three step-sisters; four grandchild­ren, Megan, Stephanie, Blake, Sidney; a great-grandchild, Copeland Rose; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will start at 1 p.m. before the service Thursday.

Service is set for 2:30 p.m. Thursday, July 21, at First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge.

Arrangemen­ts were with Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

A private family burial will be in Pemerton Cemetery.

Arvin ‘ Termite’ Frank

Arvin “Termite” Frank, 80, of Seligman, Mo., died Thursday, July 14, 2016.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 23, 2016, in the White Funeral Home & Crematory in Cassville, Mo.

David Glen Taylor

David Glen Taylor, 60, died July 11, 2016 in Rogers. He was born on May 2, 1956 in Rogers, Ark., to Clarencie Taylor and Gladys Birlew.

He was an avid reader, carpenter, mechanic and loved fishing. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Even though he could be ornery he always lit up the room and was always there when you needed him. He was loved by all.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Pamela Jane Rodgers

Survivors include his son, Justin (Linda) Taylor of Texas; daughter, Jeni (James) Waterman of Pea Ridge; brothers, Stephen Taylor of Garfield, Kevin Taylor of Pea Ridge, and Danny Taylor of Lowell, Billy Williams, Randy William and Herbert Wayne Williams, all of Rogers; sister, Kathleen (Phillip) Hansel of Bentonvill­e; five grandchild­ren, Jackson, Morgan Taylor, and Holly, Kinli, and S.J. Waterman; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held 5-7 p.m. Thursday, July 14, 2016, in Rollins Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral service was Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel.

Burial will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Avoca.

Don Ellis Wade

Don Ellis Wade, 88, of Bentonvill­e, died July 12, 2016 at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonvill­e. He was born July 16, 1927, in Prospect, Texas to Frank Wade and Edna Pearl Hilburn Wade.

He owned and operated Don Wade Drilling for 43 years. He was an avid domino player and fisherman, loved hunting and traveling. Don was a member of Bentonvill­e Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 65 years, Evelyn Wade; a son, Stevie Wade; and three sisters, Ruby, Loy and Pearl.

Survivors are his son, Bob Wade and wife Faye of Bentonvill­e; two daughters, Suzanne Magelky and husband Ed of Bentonvill­e and Judy Roark and husband Kevin of Centerton; a brother, Loyd Wade and wife Clairene of Bowie, Texas; eight grandchild­ren; seven great-grandchild­ren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation was 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Sisco Funeral Home, Pea Ridge.

Graveside service was 10 a.m. Monday, July 18, at Bentonvill­e City Cemetery with Walton Hook officiatin­g.

Arrangemen­ts are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
