Saturday, Aug. 13

9:53 p.m. Police were dispatched to Hayden Road at McNair Street for a singlevehi­cle accident involving a green Mustang that crashed into a wooden fence and left the scene of the accident. As a result of the investigat­ion, police arrested Tyler Scott, 23, Pea Ridge, for DWI and leaving the scene of a property-damage accident.

Wednesday, Aug. 17

6:30 a.m. Police were dispatched to the intersetio­n of Pickens and Hayden roads for a traffic accident involving vehicles driven by Robert Damon Anderson, 43, Pea Ridge, and Christine Meister, 30, Heber Springs. Meister was cited for following too closely and no proof of insurance.

8:10 a.m. A resident of Buck Drive reported theft of eight round pen panels valued at between $1,000 to $1,500.

1:40 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Manuel Valles, 39, Rogers, for fleeing in a vehicle, driving on a suspended license, failure to register his vehicle over 30 days, and on a warrant from Benton County

10 p.m. A resident of South Curtis Avenue reported receiving harassing communicat­ions.

Thursday, Aug. 18

9:45 a.m. The school resource officer investigat­ed a report of a disturbanc­e between two groups of students at the high school. School officials also investigat­ed the incident.

1:25 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Wayne A. Crouch, 35, Rogers, for driving on a suspended license and a warrant for failure to appear on driving on a suspended license.

Friday, Aug. 19

11:11 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Jesse Howard, 23, Pea Ridge, for DWI and possession of drug parapherna­lia and Jacob McClellan, 21, Pea Ridge, on a Bentonvill­e warrant.

Saturday, Aug. 20

10 a.m. An employee at Dollar General reported shopliftin­g. The incident is under investigat­ion.

12:23 p.m. A wallet was left at the police station; the owner was contacted, retrieved the wallet and said nothing appeared to be missing.

11:53 p.m. While on patrol, police observed an unoccupied veicle on Ryan Road off Sugar Creek. The vehicle was reported stolen out of Rogers. Rogers Police retrieved the vehicle. No suspect was located.

Sunday, Aug. 21

2:28 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police cited a 15-year-old female passenger for possession of Sch. VI, possession of Sch. I or II, and possession of drug parapherna­lia. The informatio­n was forwarded to the Child Abuse Hotline.

Robert Nelson DuBois

Robert Nelson DuBois, 77, Bella Vista, died Aug. 19, at the Circle of Life in Bentonvill­e. He was born in Omaha, Neb., to Ted and June DuBois.

The family moved to California in 1971 where he spent is life until July of 1972 when he and his family moved to Arkansas. He had many hobbies such as car racing, scuba diving, dune buggies, boating and fishing. He worked in all kinds of constructi­on most of his life and finally ended as a building contractor.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ted DuBois; a brother, Roger DuBois; and a sister, Shirley Wafford.

Survivors are his wife, Babe DuBois of Bella Vista; his mother, June DuBois of Bentonvill­e; a sister, Michelle Denett of Bentonvill­e; a brother, Jack DuBois of Noel, Mo.; and numerous grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren.

Luella Lydia Franke

Luella Lydia Franke, 96, of Pea Ridge, Ark., died Aug. 16, 2016, at Jamestown Nursing and Rehab in Rogers, Ark. She was born in St. Paul, Ill., on April 7, 1920, to John and Emma (Buth) Malchow.

She was an active member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Pea Ridge for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Art Franke; daughter,
