Jerry Lorraine Buckman

Jerry Lorraine Buckman, 87, died March 15, 2017. She was born to Herbert H. Hooper and Veda Lorraine Hopper in Decatur, Ill., on Oct. 5, 1929.

She graduated from Hardy High School, went to college at Kansas City Secretaria­l School where she met her husband. They lived in Mankato, Minn., until he retired, then moved to Rogers, Ark. She owned and operated Jeri’s Antiques and Uniques for many years. She was a member of the Rogers Historical Museum, Finders Keepers Club, served as president of the Questers Club, and was a member of a Bridge and Pinochle Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross L. Buckman, and one daughter, Susan M. Buckman.

Survivors are her daughter, Linda James and her husband Frank, of Garfield, Ark.; a granddaugh­ter, Laura Beth James, of Garfield; two step-grandchild­ren, Frank Alan James Jr. and family and Jesse James; one sister, Sally Kirkton of Marshfield, Mo.; two nieces, Kimber Brockman and Nikki Eck and husband Rick; and one nephew, Phillip Kirkton and Faith.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2017, in Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th St., Rogers, Ark., with Mr. Bobby Vaughn officiatin­g.

Private interment was in the Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery in Rogers.

Dolores Kathleen Fletcher

Dolores Kathleen Fletcher, 86, of Rogers, Ark., died Monday, March 13, 2017, at Ashley Health & Rehab in Rogers. She was born Aug. 31, 1930, in Elk City, Okla., to Percy “Bud” Shermer and Voicie Elizabeth Brice Shermer.

She graduated from Rogers High School in 1948. She was employed for several years at the Pea Ridge Canning Factory and was also a custodian at Pea Ridge Public Schools for many years, although her favorite job was being a homemaker and raising her three boys. She and her husband spent nearly 20 years living in Kansas after they were married then moved to the Pea Ridge/ Rogers area to make their home.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 35 years, Roy Fletcher; one son, Rodney Fletcher; one brother, Rex Shermer; and two sisters, Willa Dean Rominger and Poladean Johnson.

Survivors are two sons, Doug Fletcher (Janet) of Mounds, Okla., and Bobby Fletcher of Rogers; one brother, Raymond Shermer of Springfiel­d, Mo.; five grandchild­ren, Tammy Fletcher, Sandra McCormick, Bobby Fletcher, Courtney Beene and Whitney Edwards; four great-grandchild­ren, Destiny Guyll, Hunter Beene, Peyton Edwards and Skyler Edwards; one great-grandchild on the way; one greatgreat-grandson Valentino Martinez; and many nieces and nephews. There is no visitation. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 18, at Pea Ridge Cemetery.

June Hency

June Hency, 78, of Pea Ridge, died Friday, March 17 at Rogers Health & Rehab. She was born June 21, 1938, in Washington County, Ala., to Thomas James Bailey and Livie Jan Booher Bailey.

She was raised in State Line, Miss. She graduated from State Line High School, attended college at Jones Jr. College and then Business College in Mississipp­i. She moved to LaHabra, Calif., and worked as a bookkeeper for Bank of America and Byefair Market. She married Marvin Hency in LaHabra, Calif., Aug. 25, 1962, and to this union one daughter, Rebecca, was born.

She moved to Rogers in 1972 and worked at Tyson Foods in Bentonvill­e for 11 years. She also started a daycare and B&J Tax Service in Pea Ridge.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a step-son, Robert Lee Hency; eight brothers, Paul, Lawrence, Lonnie, Ansel, Ulmer, Warren, Arthur and Hughes; and five sisters, Vinia, Evelyn, Eloise, Mildred and her twin, Jessie.

Survivors are her husband, Marvin Hency of Pea Ridge; one daughter, Rebecca K. Vanzandt and husband, Kenny, of Seligman, Mo.; a step-daughter, Patricia Schroor of Butterfiel­d, Mo.; two grandchild­ren, Livie Vanzandt of Seligman, Mo., and Stacy Hall and husband, Colt, of Exeter, Mo.; three step-grandchild­ren, Melissa Knotts, Gary Litton and wife, Corina, and Doug Hency and wife, Betty; three greatgrand­children; five stepgreat-grandchild­ren; two great-great-grandchild­ren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation is set for 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, in Sisco Funeral Home, Pea Ridge.

Graveside service is set for 11 a.m. Thursday, March 23, at the Vanzandt Family Cemetery in Missouri.

Martha Ann Long

Martha Ann Long, 64, of Anderson, Mo., died March 17 after a short illness. She was born Dec. 29, 1952, in Rogers, Ark., to James Nelson and Edra Faye (Warren) Crabtree.

On July 3, 1974, she was united in marriage to Charles Allen Long of Picher, Okla. He preceded her in death on April 27, 2016.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two siblings, Lura Louise Bailey and James Warren Crabtree.

She was employed for 34 years at Emerson Electric and then transition­ed to Wal-Mart home office where she was an office manager for 10 years. She came to Christ in September 2014, and soon became known as Sister Soul On Fire Martha. She loved to volunteer at the Food Bank in Foley, Ala., where she had retired with long time friend Bob Nagurne to enjoy the beach and outdoors. She was a member of both Freedom Now and Freedom Fellowship churches and loved by all for her sweet nature and love of people. Her greatest desire was to live for Jesus.

Survivors include her children, Karla Jones and Duane of Powell, Mo., Michael Smith and Misty Long, both of Anderson, Mo.; 10 grandchild­ren, Bobby, Brenna, Justin Jaret, Damon, Jacobi, Peyton, Dalton, Shadow and Kaden; nine great-grandchild­ren, Roman, Ethan, Kalen, Dawsyn, Constance, Zander, Avery, Brantley and Jackson; and countless friends, relatives and church members.

Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 25, 2017, at the Freedom Fellowship Neosho, Mo., with Pastor Rocky Tash officiatin­g.

John A. Tartaglia

John A. Tartaglia, 81, of Fayettevil­le, Ark., died Thursday, March 16, 2017. He was born March 7, 1936, in Fairmont, W.V., to Joseph and Madeline Tartaglia.

He was a member of New Life Fellowship in Pea Ridge, Ark. He was a loving father who devoted his life to his children and grandchild­ren (Psalm 127).

Survivors are his daughter, Marla Fletcher and her husband, Clyde, of Fayettevil­le; two sons, J.J. Tartaglia and his wife, Braidi, of Fayettevil­le; Tony Tartaglia and his wife, Sandra, of Fayettevil­le; sister, Rose Tatta of Fairmont; two brothers, Sammy Cassella and Tony Cassella, both of Fairmont; 16 grandchild­ren; and two great-grandchild­ren.

Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 20, 2017, in the chapel at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.

Burial followed in Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayettevil­le.

Shirley Ann Webb

Shirley Ann Webb, 78, of, Garfield, Ark., died March 17, 2017, at her home. She was born Feb. 9, 1939, in Farnum, Neb., to Dickson Scoggan and Evelyn Campbell Scoggan.

She married Donnie Webb June 13, 1959. She worked for Tucker Abstract and Benton County Abstract in Bentonvill­e, Ark. She was a homemaker and the backbone of the farming operation at home. She loved her dogs, canning, working in her flower garden and attended Twelve Corners Church in Garfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors are her husband, Donnie Webb of the home; a son, Mickey Webb of Garfield; an uncle, Donald Hall of Victoria, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and many friends.

Visitation was 5-7 p.m. Monday, March 20, at the Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

Graveside service was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 21, in Twelve Corners Cemetery.

Arrangemen­ts were by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
