Leslie Eugene Clark, 71, of Jacket, Mo., died April 17, 2017, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers,
Ark. He was born

1945, in
San Antonio, Texas, to Weldon
Leslie
Clark and Carmen Esther Hoggett Clark.
He spent most of his life in California before moving to Jacket to make his home. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1967 to 1971. He was stationed on Treasure Island in San Francisco and served active duty as a top secret electronics technician in Guam during the Vietnam era. He was employed by Pacific Telephone for many years and then Lockheed for several years as a communications technician with top secret security clearance. He was an avid builder and flyer of model airplanes, loved to fish, listen to music, played several musical instruments, and enjoyed collecting and setting up model trains.
He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant brother, Donald Leslie Clark; and his wife, Lahoma Sue “Honey” Clark, who he married in October 1967 at Carson City, Nev.
He was a kind and wonderful man loved by all who knew him.
Survivors are two sisters, Janis Greer (Mike) and Carmen Garrett (Ron) all of Jacket, Mo.; and many beloved family members. There is no visitation. Graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 25, at Antioch Cemetery.
