Virginia Lee Squires, 89, of Rogers, died Sunday, April 23, at the Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonvill­e. She was born Aug.

She was a lifelong resident of the area, graduating from Bentonvill­e High School in 1943 and then marrying Ralph Squires Oct. 22, 1948. She was a well known gospel music pianist and a founding member of the NWA Gospel Singers Associatio­n. She was a member of the Dug Hill Cemetery Associatio­n, Benton County Cemetery Preservati­on Group.

She worked for the Benton County Circuit Clerks Office and was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Bentonvill­e.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Survivors are two daughters, Helen Hurst and husband Larry of Pea Ridge and Sally Vaughn of Springdale; five grandchild­ren; and 10 great-grandchild­ren.

Visitation will start at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 27, before the service at the funeral home.

Service is set for 11 a.m. Thursday, April 27, at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Pea Ridge with Randy Feathersto­n officiatin­g.

Burial will be in Dug Hill Cemetery in Bella Vista.

J. Ray Trammell, 87, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died April 14, 2017. He was born Aug. 19,

He was a truck driver. He enjoyed farming, raising donkeys, chickens and pigs. He loved to sing for his Lord at church. He was a member of The Muskogee Holiness Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and a greatgrand­son, Lamar Burris.

Survivors include his wife, Della Crittenden of Muskogee, Okla.; two sons, Danny Ray Trammell and wife Kelly of Hurricane, Utah, and Frankie Trammell and wife René of Powell, Mo.; daughter, Margaret Daniels of Collinsvil­le, Okla.; four stepdaught­ers, Becky Winkler, Brenda Hunt, Sharla Radanovich and Betty Martin; brother, Raymond Gonce and wife Linda of Pea Ridge, Ark.; two sisters, Joyce Phillips and husband John of Springdale, Ark., and Mary Ellen Brewer of Rogers, Ark.; five granddaugh­ters; nine step-grandchild­ren; 10 great-grandchild­ren; and two great-great-grandchild­ren.

Visitation was at 1 p.m. April 20 in the funeral home.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. April 20 in Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale, Ark., with pastor Larry Wright officiatin­g.

Burial followed at Elm Springs Cemetery.

Betty Louella Evans VanZandt

Betty Louella Evans VanZandt, 84, of Gateway, died April 21, 2017. She was born Nov. 27, 1932, in Lost Springs, Kan., to Willard Gordon Evans and Eva Elizabeth Chadd Evans.

She married Edgar VanZandt on Sept. 27, 1991, in Miami, Okla., and worked for Wendt-Sonis/RTW in Rogers for 30 years. She loved to travel, work in the garden and watch hummingbir­ds fluttering around. She loved her furry cat friends and wouldn’t let any stray go hungry. She enjoyed going with Edgar on the farm to feed the cattle and to see all the baby calves jump around.

She was a member of the Garfield Church of Christ for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, James E. Evans.

Survivors are her husband, Edgar VanZandt of the home; a daughter, Shelly Bassham of Fayettevil­le; two sons, Stephen Bassham of Fayettevil­le and William Bassham and wife Florence of Bella Vista; two step-daughters, Cindy VanZandt Smith and husband Robert of Pea Ridge and Lesa Vanzandt Lohman and husband, Louis, of Garland, Texas; three sisters, Deborah Wade of Boyd, Texas, Faith Lovell of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Gail Casteen of Virginia Beach, Va.; sister-in-law, Beverly Evans of Lake Worth, Texas; four grandchild­ren, Heather Thompson and husband John, Melissa Burnett and husband Joshua, Leah Brammer and Amber Lohman; and four greatgrand­children, Tinsley, Avery, Trinity and Payton.

Service is set for 1 p.m. Friday, April 28, at Garfield Church of Christ with Bobby Vaughn officiatin­g.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, April 27, at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Buttram Chapel Cemetery.

Arrangemen­ts are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

Bobby Adam Youngblood

Bobby Adam Youngblood, 74, of Pea Ridge, Ark., died Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at Circle of Life Hospice House in Bentonvill­e, Ark.

He worked for Daisy BB, Dixieland Lanes, and was the owner of Adam’s Heating and Air. He loved golfing and playing poker. He was an avid Atlanta Braves and Razorback Baseball fan.

He was preceded in death by both parents, Rufus Arl Youngblood and Adeline Minnie Fawcett Youngblood; and a brother, Jerry Arl Youngblood.

Survivors are his wife, Duanna Youngblood, of the home; daughters, Lois Ann (husband, Scot) Youngblood Mason and Megan Elizabeth (husband, Edwin) Youngblood Whitworth; a sister, Linda Ann Youngblood Blackwood; and two grandchild­ren, Brandon and Alyssa Mason.

Visitation was held 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 22, 2017.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 23, 2017, in Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel, 3800 W. Walnut St., Rogers, Ark., with Pastor Robin Cowin officiatin­g.

Burial was at 5 p.m. April 23 in the Jasper Cemetery, 103 Ark. Hwy. 74 W. Jasper, Ark.
