Ryder Nathaniel Ray Beck

Ryder Nathaniel Ray Beck, 4-month-old son of Haley Pitts and Wade Beck, died June 15, 2017, in Garfield, Ark. He was born Feb. 6, 2017.

Survivors are his parents Haley Pitts and stepfather David Rust; Wade Beck; siblings, Aaliyah Pitts, Kimberly Pitts-Feliciano and Brooke Rust; grandparen­ts, Rebecca Pitts and Johnny Butler, Warren Pitts, David Williams, Ann Williams; great-grandparen­ts, Shirley tenBensel and David tenBensel, Tommy Fortner, and Patsy Pitts; and uncles, Blake and Austin Pitts.

Graveside service will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery, Rogers, Ark.

Arrangemen­ts are by Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. Fourth St., Rogers.

Alvitta Carolyn Ward

Alvitta Carolyn Ward, 69, died June 2, 2017. She was born Sept. 22, 1948, to Claude and Minnie Murray in Springdale, Ark.

She lived the majority of her life in the Benton County area of Arkansas.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband Alvin Ward; her parents; her brother, Delvin Murray; three sisters, Charlene McFerrin, Evelyn Jones and Betty Bell.

Survivors are two daughters, Lana Turner and husband Jeff of Gravette and Dana Newman and husband Rusty of Bentonvill­e; five sons, Charles Garrett and wife Lisa of Gravette, Preston Ward of Circlevill­e, Ohio, Beau Ward of Circlevill­e, Ohio, Rick Ward of Rogers and David Ward of Bentonvill­e; two sisters, Lois Kaszycki and husband George of Bella Vista and Dell Boyd and husband Gary of Pea Ridge; and her many grandchild­ren, greatgrand­children, nieces and nephews.

A celebratio­n of her life was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 17, 2017, at The First Christian Church of Gravette, 301 1st Ave NE, Gravette, Ark., with pastor Robert Ward officiatin­g.
