Bella Vista man arrested for drugs

As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Jimmy Lemmons, 41, of Bella Vista.

A canine alerted on items in the vehicle. As a result of the search, police found several forms of narcotics and narcotics equipment.

Lemmons was arrested for possession of a controlled substance with purpose to deliver (felony), three counts of possession of a controlled substance (felony), possession of drug parapherna­lia (felony) and endangerin­g the welfare of a minor (felony).

Items seized included approximat­ely 30 grams of suspected high grade methamphet­amine, approximat­ely 2.2 grams of suspected methamphet­amine/MDMA (ecstasy), approximat­ely 1.4 grams of suspected cocaine and 15 tablets of suspected amphetamin­e, according to police.

A minor child was riding in the vehicle and was taken out of the suspect’s custody.
