Why selected: “Natalie’s ability to control the ball and distribute to her teammates was unparalleled this season. She was a force to be reckoned with,” coach Lisa Levermann.
Offensive MVP
AUDREY JORDAN
Caddo Magnet, Sr. Position: Forward
Why selected: Jordan had 68 goals and 25 assists this season. She set Caddo Parish records for single season and career goals scored with 161. She was named West MVP in the All-Star game Saturday.

MARY HELEN BURFORD Loyola, Sr.
Position: Defender
Why selected: Burford is a Louisiana Tech signee who anchored a Loyola defense that posted 14 shutouts on the season while contributing 26 career goals as a central defender for the Flyers.

Why selected: Although Captain Shreve (23-4-1) went undefeated in Division I, District 1, Byrd (19-11-1) topped the
Loyola’s Mary Helen Burford is one of the top defenders in the state.
Lady Gators 2-0 in the LHSAA quarterfinals and ultimately advanced to the LHSAA Division I state championship game. The Lady Jackets’ defense down the stretch made the difference for coach Levermann and company.

Why selected: “The combination of Anderson’s speed and ball handling skills lead to her being one of the best forwards in the city. She made her presence known on the field,” coach Lisa Levermann.

Why selected: “Ainsley serves as the creative playmaker for the Flyers’ offense and led the team in both goals and assists for the second consecutive season,” coach Mark Matlock.

Why selected: “Isabella had 47 goals and 30 assists this season, including five goals in the state quarterfinals,” coach Nick Flowers.

Why selected: “Isabella has moved seamlessly from a center back to a deep lying midfielder to an attacking midfielder during her career. She is a great leader,” coach Erik Lane.

Why selected: “Eryn was our fourth highest goal scorer with 13, and assist leader with 16 all from the No. 10 position. She was also Freshman of the Year for District 1, Division 1,” coach Jesse Dyer.

Why selected: “Khaela’s calm demeanor and high soccer IQ enabled her to control the midfield. She also showed great leadership as team captain,” coach Lisa Levermann.

Why selected: “As leader of the defense, Miller’s consistency and ability to stop an attack were critical to Byrd’s success this season. Her positive attitude helped motivate her teammates throughout the year,” coach Lisa Levermann.

Why selected: “Karsyn was our leader from the CB role in a 3-5-2 formation and our defense gave up less goals than in our last five seasons against arguably the hardest schedule in those seasons,” coach Jesse Dyer.

Why selected: “Millicent posted a 0.74 goals against average this season compiling 47 career shutouts for the Flyers,” coach Mark Matlock.
