Hazel Louise Britton of Hamilton

Hazel Louise Britton 101 passed away August 8, 2015.

Hazel was a Hamilton resident most of her life and is a retired Dietician from Morris Hall.

Daughter of the late William & Melvina Murphy; Sister of the late Harry, William, Leonard and Arthur Murphy and Marguerite Shewark, Catherine Wedger, Alma Erick, Mildred Williams, Anna Briel and Ellen Gulick; Wife of the late Walter R. Britton and Mother of the late Dorothy L. Carroll and William Shipe; she is survived by her daughter Mary Jones Applegate of Mercerville, her son Russell Shipe of Trenton, daughter in law Barbara Shipe of Belvidere, NJ, 15 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Thursday at Knott’s Colonial Funeral Home, 2946 South Broad St. Hamilton.

Rev. Jean Pinto of United Presbyterian Church in Yardville will officiate. Relatives and friends may call 12:00 - 1:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home

Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
