Johnny M. Dollson of Trenton

Johnny M. Dollson, age 82, of Trenton, NJ, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016 at St. Francis Medical Center.

He was resident of Trenton for 63 years. He was a graduate of Monroe High School in Albany, Ga.

He was employed by H.D. Lee Company, U.S. Steel and General Motors, from which he retired in 1993.

Johnny was a member of Zion Grove Baptist Church, Sylvester, GA, Greater Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Hamilton, Township, NJ in 1959, where he served as Superintendent of the Church Sunday School and was ordained a deacon in 1967.

Soon of the late Pecola and KC Dollson, brother of the late Willie Dollson and father of the late Marshall Dollson.

Johnny is survived by his loving wife Ruth Dollson, and out of this union were four beautiful children, Carol Dollson, Maverick Dollson, Angelice Dollson, and Kervick Dollson. Johnny and Ruth are the proud grandparents of Niftea L. Washington and Chase A. Bolden, and four great-grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, 150 N. Clinton Ave., Trenton, NJ. Calling hours will be 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Interment will be Ewing Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Hughes Funeral Home.
