Shirley Francis Anderson of Trenton

Shirley Francis Anderson, 73, of Trenton, NJ, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2016 at Helene Fuld Hospital in Trenton, NJ.

She was born in Trenton, NJ and was a lifelong resident of the community.

Shirley was educated in the Trenton Public Schools and graduated from Trenton Central High School, Barbizon School of Beauty in Philadelphia, PA.

She was employed by General Motors.

Shirley was a member of Galilee Baptist Church.

She was predeceased in death by her parents, Isreal R.Wilson and Naomi WilsonBrooks, her husband James Vandy Anderson, her sisters, Ruth Cunningham, Joyce I. Mills and Mildred Salley, her brothers, Donald Wilson, Herbert Wilson, and June Wilson.

Shirley is survived by her sons, Doran V. Anderson and Duane V. Anderson; her daughter Debra Anderson; her daughterin-law, Karen Vann; four granddaughters, Shay’Quana Anderson, Porsche Anderson, Sha’bre Anderson, and Darla Anderson; one grandson, Doran R. Anderson; eight great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, September 23, 2016 at Galilee Baptist Church, 440 Martin Luther King Blvd., Trenton, NJ.

Calling hours will be 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church.

Interment will be Colonial Memorial Park, Hamilton Township, NJ.
