Intruders murder Pemberton man during home invasion

PEMBERTON >> A home invasion turned deadly in the Brown Mills section of the township.

A 37-year-old man was shot and killed by intruders on Sunday night inside his trailer home on Alfred Drive, authoritie­s announced in a press release.

The victim was identified Norman Mosley, who was shot by two men wearing masks shortly before 10 p.m., Burlington County Prosecutor Robert D. Bernardi and Pemberton Township Police Chief David H. Jantas said.

Mosley was taken to Deborah Hospital in Pemberton by an individual who was inside the residence at the time of the shooting, authoritie­s said. Mosley was pronounced dead shortly after 11 p.m.

Police said no arrests have been made and that no one else was injured during the home invasion.

The authoritie­s are investigat­ing a motive.

An autopsy will be performed Monday by the county’s medical examiner on Monday.
