Barbara Bade of Robbinsville

Barbara Bade, age 79, of Robbinsville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at home.

Born in Ewing Township, she was a life-long Hamilton resident

Barbara was employed by Optel, K-Mart and ShopRite for many years until her retirement.

She enjoyed arts and crafts, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Barbara was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Predeceased by her parents Lester E. and Sadie Mae (Fry) Stoop, her son Gary Jay Alpert, her husband Norman Bade and seven siblings. She is survived by her children, Arthur Alpert and wife Nancy of Trenton, Robert Alpert and wife Donna of Conway, SC, Howard Alpert and wife Julie of Trenton, Ross Alpert and Dawne of Robbinsville, Scott Alpert and Lily Falvo of Hamilton, Laura Alpert of Hamilton; 12 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 7:30 p.m. on Friday, January 6, at D’Errico Whitehorse Mercerville Chapel, LLC, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ. Clergy from the area will officiate.

Cremation and burial will be private.

Calling hours will be Friday, January 6, from 5 to 7:30 p.m., at the funeral home.
