Trenton
Shooting arrest: Police arrested Jabree Johnson in connection with shooting that occurred on January 6around 7:30p.m. In that incident a 56-year-old Trenton man and Johnson got into a verbal dispute in the 100 block of Cleveland Avenue. Police said that Johnson walked away and the victim got back into his vehicle, but a few minutes later Johnson returned and pointed a gun at the victim. When the victim tried to leave the area Johnson fired a shot that went through the car, Trenton Police Lt. Rolando Ramos said. The
victim then drove to the police station to report the incident and warrants were issued following the investigation. Johnson was arrested on Tuesday and charged with the January 6 shooting.
Ewing
Theft: Police are seeking the identity of a man who took a kitchen sink from a display inside of the Home Depot on Olden Avenue and presented it as an item he wanted to return on Feb. 13. Police said that the store gave the male $171.00 for the “return” of the sink. The man subsequently fled from the store, police said. Anyone who may know the man’s identity is asked to call the Ewing police tip line at (609) 882-7530.
Willingboro
Burglary: On Tuesday police were sent to the first block of Messenger Lane on the report of a burglary to a vacant residence. Police said that sometime during the month of January someone entered the home and removed most of the kitchen appliances and cabinets while the home was for sale. The burglary remains under investigation.
Westampton
Drugs: Police arrested a woman after she allegedly stole food and merchandise from the Hilton Garden Inn in the 100block of Hancock Lane on Feb. 9around 9:24 p.m. Police said that they met with employees who said that Rena M. Kratzer stole food merchandise from inside the hotel and that she was no longer allowed to remain on the property. The hotel was not interested in pursuing criminal compliants, police said. Police said however that Kratzer had an active warrant for her arrest, and a search of her person turned up five bags of heroin and a hypodermic needle. She was then charged with possession of heroin and unauthorized possession of a hypodermic needle. She was subsequently incarcerated in the Burlington County Jail.
Montgomery Township
Possession: Police said that Officer Ryan Gray stopped a vehicle driven by Daniel Young, 18, of Skillman for motor vehicle violations on February 2. Police said that during the course of the stop, Officer Gray determined that Young was in possession of marijuana. Young was placed under arrest and taken to police headquarters for processing. He was charged with possession of marijuana, and motor vehicle offenses.
