Sherline Ellis of Trenton

Sherline Ellis 64, of Trenton, NJ departed this life on Friday, February 10, 2017 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center.

Born in Trenton, NJ. Sherline was a lifelong area resident.

She was educated in the Trenton Public Schools.

Sherline retired from Trenton Psychiatric Hospital after 20 years of dedicated service.

Sherline was predeceased by her father, Herbert Ellis; aunts, Beulah Engram, Dolly Mae Jackson and Dorothy Lasan and Amanda Flowers. Sherline is survived by her children, Tijia Ellis and Monica Thompson of Trenton; her mother, Jewel Engram Ellis, Godson, Rodney Benson of Camden, NJ; seven grandchildren, Timothy Ellis, Tashanna Prewitt (Clifton), Tyreese Ellis, Ryneek Randolph, Biquaysha Mayfield, Kymir and Heaven Thompson; two great grandchildren, Emiija Eccles and Daevon Bell, Jr.; three brothers, Alonzo Engram, Sr., Herbert Ellis, Charles Ellis; two sisters, Gloria White (Joseph) and Mae Frances Ellis and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and two very special friends, Prophetess Tee and Mother Gee.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 18, 2017, at 11 a.m. at 1st Baptist Church of Eggerts Crossing, 141 Hillcrest Ave., Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Interment will be in Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, 545 Eggerts Crossing, Ewing, NJ, 08638. Calling hours will be Saturday, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the church.

Arrangements are by Campbell Funeral Chapel, Trenton.
