Man shot dead in Pemberton

MOUNT HOLLY >> A 24-yearold Pemberton man was shot and killed Tuesday night, prosecutors said.

The Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office said that Shaquille Williams, 24, was located inside of a vehicle with several gunshot wounds in the 100 block of Kinsley Road.

Officers had intitally been detailed to the area, which is in the Browns Mills section of the township, on a report of shots fired around 9 p.m. Williams was pronounced dead at the scene, prosecutors said.

The prosecutor’s office said that no charges have been filed and an autopsy was to be performed Wednesday.
