Fake Cash and Drugs: A reputed member of the Gangster Killer Bloods set of the Bloods street gang was arrested last week after police found 39 bricks of heroin and $6,500in counterfeit money inside his house. Mark Fletcher, 29, who also awaits trial for a 2013attempted murder charge, was arrested March 17after police raided his Lamberton Street home and found the drugs and fake money. Officials say detectives conducted a surveillance operation on Lamberton Street over the course of a few weeks after receiving numerous complaints about open-air drug activity. The investigation led them to believe Fletcher

had large quantities of drugs in his home. Police then obtained a search warrant and raided Fletcher’s property last Friday. Police also arrested 38-yearold Marcin Bartoszewski during the investigation. In September 2013, Fletcher was arrested in connection with a shooting. Prosecutors say Fletcher ordered Keith Journigan to shoot a member of the rival Sex Money Murder set of the Bloods after spotting the man on a porch in the

400block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Journigan allegedly fired at the victim, hitting him in the chest and shoulder, before running away. The victim survived his wounds. It’s not immediately clear when Fletcher posted bail for the attempted murder charge, but officials say his trial is expected to begin soon. Fletcher will most likely remain in jail until that time. Local officials notified the Secret Service about the counterfeit cash they seized from Fletcher’s home. The investigation and subsequent raid was conducted by members of the Violent Crimes and Warrants Unit, under the command of Lt. Rolando Ramos and Detective Sgt. Anthony Manzo, along with assistance from the FBI and New Jersey State Police.
