Wet weather wipes out entire slate of games
All eight high school baseball games scheduled for
area Tuesday were washed out by the weather.
Hamilton will try to make up its game at West WindsorPlainsboro North at 4 p.m. Thursday.
Allentown’s game with Holy Cross at Trenton’s Arm & Hammer Park will try again at 4 p.m. May 4.
Trenton Catholic Academy’s game at the Hun School, Delran’s home game with Pennsauken and New Egypt’s game at Westampton Tech were postponed, while Florence’s game at Medford Tech, WW-P South’s game at Princeton Day School and Bordentown’s home game with Rancocas Valley were all listed as cancelled. LATE MONDAY LAWRENCE 5, EWING 1 LAWRENCE >> Trevor Del- campe had one of the Cardinals’ four hits and scored twice to lead Lawrence to its second win.
Ryan Kaelblein and Adam Zakaria also had a hit and run for coach Andrew Septer’s team, while Owen Cutaneo had a run batted in.
John Ulrich went 2-for-2 and scored Ewing’s run in the fifth inning. Storer (1-4). E (1-10), L (2-7).
