We must fight against Super Predators, no matter who

Remember how people pushed back against Hillary Clinton after she suggested that super predators walked among us.

“They’re not just gangs of kids anymore, they are often the kinds of kids that are called Super Predators. No conscience, no empathy. We can talk about why they ended up that way, but first we must bring them to heel,” Clinton minded in 1996.

A segment of black people and others chastised the former First Lady. I mean, how could Clinton unleash such condemnation about our babies, our youth, our misguided and misjudged teenagers?

This is no broad brush but three Mississippi teenagers charged with the shooting death of a 6-year-old boy after his mother’s car was stolen from a grocery store, should be considered ultimate predators if found guilty of killing Kingston Frazier.

Dwan Wakefield, 17, D’Allen Washington, 17, and Byron McBride, 19, have been charged with capital murder after police found Frazier shot multiple times and dead Thursday inside his mother’s car.

Police found Frazier on the day family members had prepared for his kindergarten graduation. Instead, they searched for a funeral home director who could fit his small frame into a miniature casket.

Expect extreme tap dancing about this, especially since Frazier’s mother left her car running as she shopped in a Kroger’s supermarket.

Yes, that set this horrid story in motion although it’s a stretch to blame mom for the despicable act that involved Wakefield, Washington and McBride.

That’s no budding law firm. Nope. If guilty, these three young men will represent a Mississippi murder incorporated group.

McBride could face the death penalty because he’s over eighteen, according to Madison and Rankin

County District Attorney Michael Guest.

“Two of the defendants are facing a maximum sentence of life without the possibility of parole based on their age,” Guest said. “The third defendant based on his age is looking at a potential death sentence.”

Guest’s comments were extracted from an online video after a judge refused bail for the three alleged killers.

Sure, only one person pulled the trigger but any person stupid enough to stand around for this killing deserves a place under the jail.

Just to underscore that Super Predators develop in all race groups, consider this news.

Police charged University of Maryland student Sean Christopher Urbanski, 22, of Severna Park, Md., with first- and second-degree murder as well as first-degree assault after he allegedly attacked Bowie State University student Lt. Richard Collins III.

Reports explained that Collins, 23, who is black, waited for an Uber with two friends on the College Park campus at around 3 a.m. last Saturday when Urbanski approached.

Urbanski, who is white, allegedly screamed “Step left, step left if you know what’s best for you.”

Collins said “no”. Urbanski then stabbed Collins in the chest with a folding knife.

Urbanski had membership in a Facebook group called “Alt-Reich: Nation,” a breeding ground for racial comments that attack blacks and others.

Collins had been scheduled to graduate Tuesday and had recently commissioned as a second-lieutenant in the U.S. Army.

As the U.S. splinters along political and racial lines, it’s imperative that we stand together as human beings and reject actions that stray from acceptable human behavior.
