Trenton
Theft by Family: Denise Cruser, 38, was arrested Tuesday after she allegedly stole a relative’s Chevy Blazer and took it for a joyride through the city. Officials say a woman who knows the Cruser family spotted the vehicle near the intersection of New York and North Olden avenues around 11:15a.m. The woman then followed the SUV and called law enforcement. Officials say the driver of the SUV, later identified as Cruser, stopped in the first block of Butler Street. Police arrived on scene shortly thereafter and further investigation revealed that Cruser had stolen the vehicle from
a relative. Police also found a hypodermic needle and a crack pipe inside the SUV. During the investigation, a passenger in the Blazer identified as 46-year-old Lorenzo Garriques was arrested in connection with outstanding warrants. Cruser is charged with receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Crack and Pot: Eric Ramos, 45, was arrested after police allegedly found him in
possession of marijuana and five grams of crack cocaine. Officials say police stopped Ramos for driving a vehicle with heavily tinted windows and then saw a burning marijuana cigarette in the ashtray during the traffic stop. Ramos also had marijuana in his pocket, according to officials who say the crack was found on the floorboard inside the car. Police also seized $679 in cash as suspected drug proceeds. Homicide Charges: A Beverly City man was arrested Tuesday for fatally shooting 27-year-old Ronald Walker, of Florence, last year. Prosecutors say a group from Beverly City went to Florence and began fighting with local residents in the area of Zinc Street on the evening of September 21, 2016, when Walker was killed. Prosecutors say 31-year-old Anthony Harris pulled out a handgun during the fight and began shooting. Walker was shot at least once in the chest and later died at the hospital. Harris is charged with aggravated manslaughter and related weapons offenses. Harris was arrested Tuesday morning in an apartment in Falls Township, PA. He will be extradited to NJ and returned to Burlington County for court proceedings.
Westampton
Pot and Pills: Brandon Lewis, 30, was arrested after police found him sitting in a car in possession of 20Oxycodone pills, two Suboxone pills, marijuana, a grinder, and a large amount of cash. Police encountered Lewis when they were dispatched to Fieldcrest Drive for a well being check on a man who reportedly had been sitting in a vehicle for a long time.
Bucks County, Pa.
Forgery: Someone tried to exchange a counterfeit $100 bill at the main cashier cage inside Parx Casino.
Theft from Elderly: Someone stole cash from a 74-year-old man who resides at the Langhorne Gardens Rehab and Nursing Center. Police say the money was stolen out of the man’s bedroom.
Counterfeit Too: Someone gave a fake $20bill to the toll collector at the Route 1 Toll Bridge in Morrisville.
ID Theft: A resident of Heather Circle reported that someone opened credit accounts in their name and charged $4,466 worth of merchandise.
Missing Tools: Numerous tools were stolen out of a trailer at a construction site on Oxford Valley Road.
Stolen Ring: A diamond ring was stolen out of a property located in the 1000 block of Reading Avenue.
