Lawrence W. Sellnow, 95, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June

15, 2017 at Capital Health in Hopewell Township. Born and raised in Staples, MN, he had been a resident of Bordentown Township for over 70 years. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII and worked for 31 years as a Freight Conductor and Brakeman for the Pennsylvan­ia Railroad. Larry was a member of St. Mary’s Church and an honorary member of the Divine Word Mission and the oldest living member of the Bordentown Elks Lodge #2085 BPOE. He was a loving husband, father and grandfathe­r and will be deeply missed.

Predecease­d by his parents William and Anna Marie Sellnow, his siblings: Art, Ed, Gordon, Bob and Shirley, his beloved wife, Catherine W., his son, Lawrence Jr. and his grandson Brian Keith, he is survived by his children: Ellen Weckenbroc­k of Bordentown Township, Dolores Dykes and her husband Monroe of Niceville, FL and William E. Sellnow of Hamilton, seven grandchild­ren: Dara, Catherine, Michael, Christophe­r, Daryck, Erik and Laura and four great grandchild­ren: Macy, Kenzie, Riley and Jason and a thank you to MaryBeth for her care and support for Lawrence.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 am Wednesday, June 21 at Divine Word Missionari­es, 101 Park St, Bordentown, NJ. A graveside service will be 10 am, Thursday, June 22 at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Cemetery Lane, Bordentown Township. In lieu of flowers and Mass Cards, donations may be made to the Divine Word Missionary, PO BOX 357, 101 Park St, Bordentown, NJ 08505 or to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, PO BOX 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101. Arrangemen­ts are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Bordentown, NJ.
