Linda Brown of Trenton

Linda “Lenny” Brown, 58, of Trenton, passed away on June 18, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson Univ. Hosp. at New Brunswick.

Born in Trenton, Lenny was a lifelong resident of the area. She graduated from Trenton Central High School in 1978. She was employed as an Insurance Fraud Investigator with the NJ Dept. of Labor for over 20 years.

She was predeceased by her father, Herman Brown; maternal grandparents, Blanche and Rufus Law; paternal grandparents, Maybelle and William Brown; and one great grandchild, Jayla Brown.

She leaves to cherish precious memories her mother, Mary E. Brown; son, Saddique Brown (Antoinette); daughter, Janay Brown; grandchildren, Shrron Brown, Saddique Owens-Brown, Shienise and Shannon Mason, Naibrey Leonard, Jared Mason, Jaila Clark, Jamia Leonard, Janel Brown, Adrianna and Adrian Jackson; great grandchildren, Julius Johnson, Lyric Kornegay, Mikala and Ivy Brown, and Khyzier Brown-Dockery; three brothers, Herman Brown, Jr. (Joanne), Terry Brown (Gloria), and Russell Brown; two sisters, Barbara Hoagland (Wayne) and Beverly Harrison; two aunts, two uncles, three nieces, four nephews, and a host of cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 10 am at Union Baptist Church, 301 Pennington Ave., Trenton, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pulmonary-Hypertension Association, 801 Roeder Rd. Ste. 1000, Silver Spring, MD 20910.
