Randy Valentino Godet

Randy Valentino Godet, son of Sharon Godett and Ernesto Robinson was born July 5, 1980 in Trenton, NJ where he was a lifelong resident. He was educated in the Trenton Public School System, attending Parker Elementary School, Lawrence Middle School, Young Scholars Institute and Grandville Academy. He graduated from McCorristin Catholic High School in 1999. Randy departed this life on Monday June 19, 2017 at Capital Health Hospital in Hopewell.

Randy worked at the Trenton Psychiatric Hospital for over 5 years. He was also employed by the City of Trenton for over 12 years at the City of Trenton Waste Management on Calhoun street.

Randy knew Christ at an early age and attended Grace Cathedral Fellowship Ministries and Kingdom Church.

Randy was a very caring person with a huge heart, who was always affectionate, helpful and very respectful to everyone. His love for children with at least 1015 god kids and people in general was contagious. His laugh, love, and kindness made people want to do better. Randy was a very intelligent man with many skills. Randy loved helping to cook on the grill, but not if it would cause him to mess up his Jordans. More than anything Randy loved his family and spending time with his friends.

But most of all he was the kind of young man that his mother was proud to say that he was her son.

He was predeceased by his grandmothers, Elder Cynthia U Thompson and Adrianna Richards; uncles David Wright, Henry Robinson, and Reynaldo Robinson.

He is survived by his mother, Sharon Godett; father, Ernesto Valentino Robinson (Carolyn); grandfather, Cyril Illedge; two brothers, Johni white (Nicole) and Dawann Turner Robinson; one step sister, Tinysha Weekes (Qwesi); two step brothers, Titus O Mims Jr. (Lacesha) and Tyrell Mims (Shaquana); his uncles, Leroy Godett Sr, Glen Ford (Donna), Jackie Robinson (Luella), Remon Robinson and Roberto Robinson (Fiona); his aunts, Mariana Robinson, Norma Kelsey, Olga Evans, Constancia Robinson, Mercedes Robinson (Rick), Claricia Robinson, Maria Robinson (Paul), Felicia Baldwin (Willie), Rosemarie Nelson (Melvin ), Hilda Hose, Rosita Whitfield (Rafael), Jennifer Whitfield, Christina Harris, Marcia Foster, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday July 1, 2017 at 10am at Grace Cathedral Fellowship Ministries 1217 Rev S Howard Woodson Jr. Way Trenton NJ 08638.

Interment will be in Ewing Church Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Saturday from 8am to 10 am at the church.

Arrangements are by Campbell Funeral Chapel, Trenton.
