Alleged Triggerman Arrested: Bryan Beal, 28, was arrested Tuesday in connection with a June 3 shooting that left two city men wounded with non-lifethreatening injuries. Police say Beal fired multiple shots about 2a.m. June 3in the area of West Hanover and Calhoun streets. A 34-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to his forehead above his right eye, and a 22-year-old man suffered gunshot wounds to his buttocks and right knee. When police arrived on the scene, they found 18shell casings and learned that both victims had received private transportation to Capital Health Regional Medical Center for treatment on the injuries that were not considered life-threatening. After police investigated the shooting for weeks, the Mercer County Shooting Response Team and the U.S. Marshals Regional Fugitive Task Force were able to identify Beal as the alleged triggerman and arrested him with probable cause about 6a.m. Tuesday on the 200 block of Spring Street. Police charged him with aggravated assault and weapons offenses.

Drug Arrests: Keith S. Hamilton, 19, and Watson Georges, 18, both of Trenton, were arrested Thursday night on drug charges following a police foot chase in the Wilbur section. The incident began about 9:50p.m. when Trenton’s Street Crime Unit detectives responded to the area of Monmouth Street and Walnut Avenue on a report of a male with a gun. When the officers arrived on scene, they observed two men standing in the area and looking suspicious. Police illuminated the two men with bright lighting and observed them intently focused on an object in the hand of one of the men. The man holding the object was later identified as Georges, and police say Georges attempted to shove whatever he was looking at into his pants. Officers Harrison Steimle, Stewart Owens and Jose Gonzalez ordered both men to come out of the alleyway where they had been standing between two homes. Instead of complying with the orders, Georges and the other man, later identified as Hamilton, ran down the alleyway. The cops chased after them on foot. While running away, Georges allegedly tried to hand the suspicious object to Hamilton, and Hamilton threw the object on the ground. The officers eventually were able to catch the men and place them under arrest. Police recovered 29decks of heroin and seized $215from Georges and $1,035from Hamilton. Police charged both men with possession of heroin with intent to distribute and hindering arrest.

Domestic Violence Arrest: Darius Bridgewater, 27, of Trenton, was arrested Thursday morning on simple assault domestic violence charges. Police responded to the first block of Hart Avenue about 9 a.m. on a report of a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, the officers met with the victim, identified as a 23-year-old woman and the girlfriend of Bridgewater. The victim stated she had a dispute with Bridgewater on Wednesday night and that the argument resurfaced on Thursday morning with Bridgewater allegedly choking her inside the Hart Avenue house. The victim said she escaped from Bridgewater’s grasp but that he chased after her and choked her again. The victim broke free and left the house. Bridgewater also exited the home, but the victim reentered the home and locked the door, effectively locking Bridgewater out of the house. Bridgewater kicked in the back door in an effort to re-enter the house, and that’s when police arrived on the scene and arrested Bridgewater without incident. Police charged him with simple assault domestic violence and criminal mischief.
