Lynn E. Mayer,

79, of Yardville Heights, passed away Friday, July 14, 2017, at her son’s home in New Egypt.

Born in Trenton and raised in Yardville, Lynn was a lifetime Hamilton resident. She was retired from the Hamilton Township Board of Education with more than 25 years of service. Lynn was a lifelong member of Pearson Memorial United Methodist Church and adored her family.

Daughter of the late Harry and Dorothy Ayres and her adoptive parents Clarence and Edna Ayres Middleton, sisterin-law of the late Samuel “Pepper” Fleming and wife of the late Robert W. Mayer, she is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law David R. and Leigh Ann Mayer and Jeffrey R. and Mary Mayer, her grandchildren Robert, Jenna, Rachel and Justin Mayer, her halfsister Betteann Brilla and husband Joe, her sister-in-law Judy Fleming, several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

Funeral service will be Thursday, July 20, 2017, at 11 AM at Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton (www.KingstonandKemp.com).

Interment will follow at N. Crosswicks Cemetery, Crosswicks – Hamilton Sq. Rd., Hamilton.

Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
