Naomi Banks Taylor age 84 entered eternal peace July 14, 2017 at home. Born in King and Queen County, VA and was a graduate of Greenbriar School. Naomi was an official and dedicated member of Shiloh Baptist Church since 1951, until she became ill. Naomi served in the Finance, Trustee, Pastor Aide Ministries. She was a volunteer at Mt. Carmel Guild, Young Scholars, T.A.S.K.- Soup Kitchen, and Meals on Wheels. Her hobbies were crocheting, reading, and traveling.

Daughter of the late Junious Banks and Callie Lee Hill, wife of the late Ellwood Taylor, sister of the late Catherine Trent, Mary Williams, Everdeen Banks, and Will Junious Banks Jr.

Naomi is survived by two daughters Renee Williams and Diane McKnight, six sisters Mildred Brown, Thelma Hoskins, Grace Greene, Mamie Mims, Callie Dean, and Barbara Banks, one brother Calvin Banks, six grandchild­ren Carl Felton, Ila and Kali Williams, Chanelle, Lena, and Talea (Ford) Oliver, 9 great grandchild­ren Malihki, Quentin, Mazarion, Makaila, Caden, Chanelle, Chance, Cash, and Cheyenne, one great grandson Messih, a special sister-in-law Estelle Taylor, Naomi is also survived by several special family friends/caretakers Lillie Page, Paulette Russell, Mary Singletary, Ronnie Vereen, and Geraldine Tucker.

Funeral service will be 10am Thurs July 20, 2017 at Shiloh Baptist Church 340 Rev. S. Howard Woodson Way Trenton, NJ. Calling hour will be 9am until time of service at the church. Interment will be 10:30am Fri July 21, 2017 at Washington Crossing National Cemetery Newtown, PA. Arrangemen­ts are by the Hughes Funeral Home.
