Lamone J. Burgess Sr. of Trenton, NJ age 44 passed away

July 9, 2017 at St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton, NJ.

He was a lifelong resident of Trenton and was educated in the Trenton School System.

Lamone was employed by Cantu Service, Army Base, Fort Dix, NJ and Princeton University as a cook.

He was a faithful member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.

Lamone was predeceased in death by his step-father, Roy Cook, his father, Jesse Stills, his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ulysses Burgess, and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Stills.

Lamone leaves with cherished memories his loving wife, Evangelist Kenyetta Burgess, his mother, Leona Burgess, his children, Lamone Jr., Lamere, Lamesha, and Lamar, his grandchildren, Kylee and Lamone III (L.J.), his siblings, Lawrence D. Burgess, Sam Gore Jr., Debra Burgess, LaTanaya Burgess, LaTanya Jennings, a special aunt, Ethelene Burgess, in addition to aunts, Martha Stills, Jeanette Stills, Rosetta Knox, Mary Lois Kelly and Jeanette Lee, grandfather, Fred Knox Sr., mother-in-law, Mildred Gore, father-in-law, Dan Gore Sr., sister-in-laws, Tinyetta Watkins and Fritzina Vil, brother-inlaw, Dan Gore Jr., along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral service will be 11am Fri., July 21, 2017 at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 735 East State St., Trenton, NJ. Calling hours will be 9am until the time of service at the church. Interment will be at Ewing Cemetery, Ewing, NJ. Arrangements are by the Hughes Funeral Home.
