Anthony Robert Cucchiaro passed away peacefully at the age of 78 on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

He leaves his loving wife of 23 years, Cynthia (Torcellini) Cucchiaro.

Born March 2, 1939, in Neptune, New Jersey, the son of Charles Cucchiaro, Sr. and Rachel Solomon Caggiano, he was the eldest child of four and is survived by his brothers Kenneth and Charles, Jr. and his sister, Carol Lane.

Mr. Cucchiaro served in the 82nd Airborne of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and graduated from Rider University. He retired in 1999 after over 20 years as Vice President of Materials for Proliance Internatio­nal during which time he travelled extensivel­y in Asia.

Mr. Cucchiaro had a deep appreciati­on for the written word and enjoyed reading and writing. He also had a passion for music and dancing, which he and his wife enjoyed frequently.

He was a devoted husband who cherished his wife, respected his family, and appreciate­d his friends. He will always be remembered as a gentleman who was kind and generous and had a big heart.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00am Saturday at St. Andrews Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Conway, SC. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 - 6:30pm at McMillanSm­all Funeral Home. On Line Guest Book is available @ MSFH.net
