Trenton
Gun Arrest: Quantaje Davis, 24, was arrested Saturday after he allegedly tossed a handgun onto the ground upon seeing police in the 400 block of Hamilton Avenue. Officials say detectives from the Street Crimes Unit were patrolling the area when they saw three males walking. One of the males, identified as Davis, became startled when he saw cops and allegedly tossed a .38 caliber revolver onto the ground. Police say Davis also had marijuana in his possession. The other two males were not arrested, nor charged with a crime.
Heroin Bust: Kyle Marcelis, 21, of Levittown, Pa., was arrested after detectives allegedly interrupted a drug deal and found him in possession of heroin and paraphernalia.
Lumberton
Burglary: Tarah Myers, 27, from Browns Mills, was recently arrested after she was allegedly caught burglarizing a home in the 100 block of Poplar Court. A resident of the home caught Myers in the act, according to police who say cops were in the area investigating another burglary when they received a call about Myers committing the burglary.
Pemberton
Shooting: A 33-year-old man was shot Saturday evening on Kinsley Road near Bush Street. Police found the man suffering from a gunshot wound around 5:35 p.m. The victim was flown to the hospital for emergency surgery; his condition is unknown at this time. No arrests have been made in connection with the incident. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact police at (609) 894-3310. Winslow
Robbery: Jamal Gadson, 36, of Sicklerville, was arrested after he was allegedly caught on videotape robbing an elderly woman at knifepoint. Officials say video shows Gadson walk past the 78-year-old woman, before turning around and following her. Gadson then put a knife to the side of her neck, according to officials who say he grabbed her purse and ran away. After watching the surveillance tape, police found Gadson about 12 hours later, when they noticed him wearing the same clothes he had on in the video. When police searched Gadson’s home, they found the purse and the knife.
Bensalem, Pa.
Casino Theft: Kathryn Ann Geise, 31, of Brick, NJ, was arrested after she allegedly stole a man’s money at Parx Casino. Police say the man had won approximately $1,800 at a slot machine and left it for five minutes, during which time Geise cashed him out and took his winnings. Geise was stopped by casino security and a brief struggle ensued. Cops later found drug paraphernalia on Geise as well.
Casino Theft Too: An unknown man stole a voucher valued at $180 that a 69-year-old woman left in a gambling machine.
