83, of Trenton departed this life on Friday, July

25, 2017 at her residence.

Born and educated in Americus, GA, Doris moved to Trenton in 1965.

She was employed for over 40 years at the Victory Cleaners at 524 Hamilton Ave in Trenton, NJ.

She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She met the love of her life, Richard A. Cook and they married in 1985.

Doris was predeceased by her parents, Ben and Jesse Lampkin; he beloved husband, Richard A. Cook and seven of her eight siblings. She is survived by his daughter, Allura Jean Glass of Trenton; a stepdaughter, Pat Ashburne of New York; a sister, Vera Brown of Americus, GA; a granddaughter, Jasmine Glass; a grandson, Gary Jordan both of Trenton; a dear friends, Josephine White of Lumpkin, GA; two goddaughters, Cynthia Perry and Ella Collins Bing; 3 godsons, Robert and Gregory Hill and Anthony Dodson and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including Jimmie Bing, Walter and Pattie Faulcon and Mrs. Mary Jackson.

Funeral Services will be Friday, August 4, 2017 at 11:00am at Friendship Baptist Church 111 Perry St. Trenton, NJ 08618.

Interment will be in Fountain Lawn Memorial Park.

Calling hours will be Friday from 9am to 11am at the church.

Arrangements are by Campbell Funeral Chapel, Trenton.
