Sarah E. Washington of Trenton, NJ age

89 was called to reside with God’s angels July 27,

2017 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center at Fuld.

She was born in Crescent City, Florida and relocated to New Jersey where she resided for many years.

She was educated in the Florida Public School System.

She was employed by Blakley Laundry and for many years with the Trenton Board of Education from which she subsequently retired.

Sarah was predeceased in death by her parents, Oscar and Sadie Turner, eleven sisters and brothers, Francena, Hattie, Louise, Eunice, Josephine, Theresa, Nancy, Lilla, Homer, Dennis, and Lorenzo respectively, a son, Charles Turner, a daughter, Eleanor Washington, and a greatgrandson, Kalonji Saunders.

Surviving are her three daughters, Nita Washington (Warren), Carolyn Hobbs, and Yvonne Washington, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson, a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 11am, Fri., August 4, 2017 at Galilee Baptist Church, 440 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Trenton, NJ. Calling hours will be 9am until the time of service at the church. Interment will be at Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, Ewing, NJ. Arrangements are by the Hughes Funeral Home.
