Charles E. Williams age 72, departed this life on July 24, 2017 peacefully at home. Son of the late Exie Mae and Remus Williams

“Charlie/Uncle Charlie” as he was affectionately known was born on July 27, 1944. He was educated in the Trenton and Lawrenceville school districts.

Charles served his country in the Army and he fought in the Vietnam War.

Charles was preceded in death by: 2 Brothers: Russell and Lewis Williams, 3 Sisters: Helen Ray, Delores Bradley and Jean Turner.

Charles leaves to cherish his memories His Wife: Chantel Williams, 2 Daughters: Yolanda Daniels of Trenton, NJ and Lisa Daniels of Levittown, PA. 3 Step Children: Kimetha (Ronald) Watkins, Toya Garvin and Ni’Cah McCrey all of Trenton. 2 Brothers: Remus Williams of Ewing, NJ and Lawrence (Dorothy) Williams of Columbus, NJ and 1 Sister: Gloria Blake of Trenton, NJ. 2 Sister-In-Laws: Jane Tucker and Sharon Green. 1 Brother-In-Law: Shawn Roberts. 7 Grandchildren: Tashaya Daniels, Quashawn Goldware, Robert Goldware, Anya Boynton, Taj-Marie Mclean, Shaquoya and Kirshun Turner. 1 Great Grandson: Kenny Marshall. 3 Step Grandchildren: Joshya and Key’aira Watkins and Shawn Elliot. 3 Close Friends: Anthony Robinson of Ewing, NJ, Desi Travis of Trenton, NJ and Johnny Rice of Cherry Hill, NJ. 1 Lifelong friend: Walter Davis of Vidalia, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life Service will be Friday, August 4, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Community Church 700 West State St. Trenton, N.J. 08618. Calling hours will be 8am until time of service at the church. Interment Washington Crossing National Cemetery Newtown, PA. Arrangements are by the Hughes Funeral Home.
