TRENTON » A man disgruntled about lack of work allegedly threatened to kill two women at a temporary employment agency.

Ismael Ocasio, 27, was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly threatened to shoot two women at a temp agency in the 800 block of South Broad Street.

Officials say patrol cops were dispatched to the agency after a panic alarm was activated inside the business. When police arrived, two women were standing behind a counter arguing with Ocasio.

Officials say the trio were speaking broken English, so cops didn’t fully know what was happening un- til one of the women said “pistola.”

Police then placed Ocasio against the counter, patted him down and found a semi-automatic handgun in his waistband.

An interpreter was then dispatched to the scene and police learned that Ocasio had previously received work through the temp agency, but became angry when he hadn’t received any new job offers.

“He wanted to know why he wasn’t employed,” Lt. David Cruz said.

The women told police Ocasio pulled out the gun and threatened to shoot them if they didn’t find him a job.

The arrest and investigation was conducted by Officers Robert Malagrino Jr. and Robert Furman III under the direction of Detective Sgt. Anthony Manzo.
