Donald E. Weston Jr.

Donald E. Weston, Jr., 77 died Tuesday at Capital Health, Hopewell Campus.

Born in Scranton, Pa., Don had lived in Hopewell Twp., for the past 55 years. Don earned an Associate’s Degree from Mercer County Community College and he served in the United State Reserve from 19601965. Don retired in 2012 from Princeton University as Director of Purchasing. He was a member of the National Association of Educational Procurement and the National Association of Educational Buyers.

Son of the late Donald E. Weston, Sr., and Helene Zgola Weston, he is survived by his wife of 55 years Carol DiCrescenzo Weston, one son Donald E.Weston, III and his wife Kelly, one daughter Jill C. Olivant and her husband Walter, his grandchildren, Cara Marie Weston and her fiancé Edward Serrano, Madeline Kate Weston, Julia Rose Olivant, Bridgett Ann Olivant, Holly Elizabeth Olivant, two brothers Robert Weston and his wife Jean, John Weston and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held Monday at 9:30 am from the Garefino Funeral Home with Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 10:30 am at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
